you will need original top mounts. The spring cups on the fronts look a little odd, not sure they're the right way up. Looks like eveyrthing's there though
I've run both Parada spec2 and T1R, they're fine. People with an issue in the wet should probably slow down when it rains. If you still think they're bad, try some AUTOGRIP tyres. they're bad.
It's all relative really. I know T1R's wont grip as well in the wet, but they're very predictable and...
tyres too narrow for the wheels? it sounds like you have a very stiff setup, and the only movement anywhere is in the tyres. Certainly looks like the tyres are rolling over a lot
dont usually get trouble with heat at idle unless there's too much ignition r****d. I did exactly that on mine just after putting my bodies on the mk1, and promptly got stuck on the north circular. Touch more advance, touch less static throttle, safe and steady 95deg at all time
I know that, but thats my point. Most dont know the rules, and insurance do take advantage of that. Assessors may be generally ok, but loss adjusters tend to be pretty militant
was it mapped with the wideband stuck up the tailpipe, but still with the cat fitted? This will make a very big difference, and it's a mistake I've seen numerous times.
Did they do AFR readings at the RR day? happy to take a look for you if you wanted to come over at some point. Regardless of...
I understand it pretty well, though not worked in it directly. My stepdad was a broker for about 9 years, so he's always had me wise to the knowing what you're entitled to thing too. I know where you're coming from, what I meant was, any first offer will be justified by "it's already a cat C"...
look at your heatshields, they're terrible for tearing round the bolts. There's also one spot where most aftermarket exhaust get pretty close to the sheilds and it needs bending out a little
Can do different tailpipes on the piper btw, I think there's 7 to choose from, and the 182 one we had done last week was different again. There's a slight cost difference on some of the different options
you do have to cut the bumper for the piper 172 system if you dont have a stealth. You get a 182 trim included with it though so it looks very tidy
Stealth version doesn't involve cutting, obviously ;)
