Cams seem to be having improving results as ECU access gets better. We had really good feedback from cylinder head port work. Matched inlets are good for response and drivability (though you'll see only small gains on the dyno) better filter, and improve the maze of inlet pipework

I tend to take my time and spend a day taking it apart and finding all the things that need renewing, then a day putting it all back. It's only a few hours each way, but you can usually find plenty to do while it's out on the floor

the valves are 2 pieces, friction welded together. It's not that uncommon, but it does seem to happen more to people who like to use (abuse) the rev limiter this is one Steve at Birchdown sent me a while back

nope. Most ktec stuff is made by Janspeed. really like most of it especially for the price. We sell a fair few. Just prefer Piper for a top quality item
