would be difficult. They tend to be configured for a variety of plug and play jap applications, usually running airflow meters. Capable piece of kit, but not really something I'd consider for a Renault. I know plenty of people who've used them on 200sx's etc for years though

dci 86 is a cracking car. Took me 3 years to talk my mates wife into getting hers. when she got it she thought the brakes were faulty becuase they stopped her when she pressed the pedal. Horrific KA she had before was a deathtrap and did 30mpg. She's now getting 55mpg...

use locktite on the stud into the hub, but not on the nut. Stud does not need to be very tight into the hub, just nipped
You can tighten the nut onto the stud to a higher torque than a wheelbolt. First check if the manufacturer has a suggested torque, if not, I would suggest 130Nm on a clio
I did one yesterday that had corroded through. I've seen loads that the bearings seize too. Most common cause of cambelt failure. Prob not seen so much in main dealers though
