lol belts to tight, sometimes your better with ur older belt than a tighter one!!! id have got the waterpump done if i was you, i didnt bother doing mine back when i was 17 and the pump eventually seazed snapping the belt and killing the engine i do 1.2 belts for £120 supplyed and fitted inc...

only point in fitting them is for noise on the older engines so just get a £20 universal one for it

only issue i can possibly see is with the raised limiter, apparently the pistons WILL fail with prolongued use over 7200rpm. gearboxes are fine, dont drive like a bellend and you'll be fine! clutch and driveshafts are fine. my 172 takes a pounding with probably around 190bhp and the box...

but i thought the electric throttle body from a f4r was bigger and a straight swap with the k4m?

its the wider tyres spreading the weight out, you want thin tyres in the snow example...

not accelerating harsh is the best way to get better mpg, even croozing at 80-90mph on the motorway their not bad on fuel but drive about like a tit flooring it everywhere and they drink! i only get about 20 miles less to a tank than i got with my 1.2 16v in all fairness though!

you can use the throttle body from a 2.0 F4R (not the renaultsport one, just normal 2.0 F4R from laguna etc) its a bit bigger

as far as i can see from his story he hasnt overtaken past a junction i think hes gone to overtake 2 cars and the first car has pulled out to overtake the one in front when hes passing?

lol the carboard bin was getting emptied as i was fitting it so me being mr tidy threw the box out lol so no part numbers :( its a valeo one, but from motor factors not reanult that must be what it is then, thats a start, if there cheap enough ill get one just to plug the gap lol!

its the exact shape and size of the one that came out, looks identical just that threaded hole is confusing me, looks like the type of hole you would put a thermostat in etc?

ive never tried it from under but if you remove the airbox its piss easy to get to from the engine bay

standard clutch is more than up to the job
