Caliper pistons removed for checking seals and cleaning/painting
Rack cleaned and painted. Need to remove rods and rod ends to hopefully fit mk2 stuff
And hubs cleaned up and painted ready for new bearings
@Old Tarby! Even got the steering wheel stalk working to recently, although job wheel for change track doesn't want to play ball.
considering getting a Sony 6 disc changer and swapping under seat unit too so i can have the changer function but upgraded too :)
inners are a pain on axle stands and with subframe on tight. i'd just get garage do it. outers are as you say, easy
and yeah mindisc matey, for that period correct early 2000's upgrade, lol!
I did the pretty stuff, 11 years ago now think it was, and at that time sills were solid enough and jacking points were still there.... now they're not. Plus storing outside undercover has not been kind to the roof.
After sifting through all that lot I've found most of the bits I need, then I delved into the sheds to get the shiny bits for the front end build.

Right, time to start this one again. Unpacked the shell for first time in 5 years, inventoried everything and reorganised into stuff I need and stuff that's not currently required.
Dug out the front suspension stuff almost in it's entirety and will make a list of stuff I need to complete the...
As far as I'm aware no difference in fitment, my powerlite fitted the odyssey terminals I already had as I moved from same one as you. Mines in stock location however but I would suspect cable length wouldn't really affect it. The powerlite cranks harder than the odyssey ime despite weighing...
Sorted some anchor points for the washer blanks, hoping I can use the backing plates off the originals to get angle right but we'll see when I take it apart tomorrow to fit.
For now, quick drying araldite to the rescue once more!

Thanks for the kind comments, I try to keep on top of jobs and once I get the arch seen to and front end suspension refresh this year and belts again next spring she'll be sorted for few more years.
However no plans to sell currently no
The H&R are still doing me proud and I have the Oddy for my B14 fix if required so I'll cope! lol!
Saw them on a family catch up zoom meeting last week anyway, so I know they're safe tucked up in my cousin's garage :)
oh just noticed @Dr Jekyll I can't actually fit or refit coilovers, My B14's for it are still up n Scotland, awaiting all this to blow over before I can get them!
