Lol! It's all about usage at the end of the day, i'm suprised you say the Clios don't have 4 pots for a 24 hour racing though. A stock caliper is always going to be compromised, it was never intended for track use. Especially 24 hours worth of being stood on! I can see what you're saying...

From a feedback perspective it wouldn't make any difference would it...it would be just like a Civic Type R.

What do you mean by a Cup variant though. A lighter, more powerful or stiffened 197 still might not make it handle well or be overly exciting. The problem which seems to stand out is the steering. Would Renault remove electric power steering just for us...i'm not sure.
