If you start looking at Cups then ask about the 4k exhaust rattle, front suspension fix. The suspension isn't really an issue, it just makes a knocking noise on full lock. I got a 172 the other week and already need to replace wheel bearings! Something i had to do on my first Clio...

The good thing about the Renault ones are that they have a special ET and are also flowformed. Speedline versions are only flowformed if you buy 17"+ versions.

Yeah, H&S are one of the best i've seen. Quicksilver are good too. Companies like those two are more used to doing classic, expensive cars where owners expect perfection! Although if you want ultimate exhausts you need to look at Japan, companies like Fujitsubo are amazing!

I looked for 205/40/16s on mytyres the other week and they only had s**t brands.

I think its the phase 2s that look weird with colour coded fog light surrounds. If i had a phase 1 i'd do a full silver colour code and have phase 2 side strips :)

I think it's a good upgrade for the lesser model Clios which have the ugly grille, but i think the sport grilles are much nicer and don't need it.

I like the 172 wheels, think they look distinctive and i like the way they go out to the edge. The 182 wheels look like hubcaps. If i do change my 172 wheels, which i doubt, i'll be getting the Turinis.

Cruise is standard but isn't on all cars. I don't think anything was optional other than sat nav? Has auto wipers as well as (xenon) lights.

I had FKs on my 1.2 which weren't adjustable and was really happy with them, i reckon you should both give me a test drive ;)
