true, but people bought them because of the better handling and lack of abs for track days etc, the 182 cup has none of this so unless you cant afford a full fat 182, what is the benefit?
yes the splitter comes on the back seat for the dealer to fit in the PDI as if it was on on the transporter it would rip it off as they took the car off apparently.
The rear spoiler is pre-fitted.
Will have a look for the partcode, its a while ago now
er, you arent going to like the new 182 Cup thats been announced then as that is exactly the same as a 182 (same handling packs) but with all the toys stripped out and also HAS CUP BADGES!!!!!!!! Oh no, how will you cope.......;)
Good luck with the splitter, mine was missing also, they didnt know it came with it, muppets! They couldnt find the part number so I had to get it for them and they ordered it but it has to come from france and it took 6 weeks!!!!
Mine was delivered by trailer also which meant that I dont...
noooo, racing blue will be known as the cheap mans clio now, there will be sh*t loads of them!!!!!!
At least I already have the cup badge on mine, but may have to remove that now incase people think I have the poor mans version
Jason, the main ones are:
Check all the bodywork for marks/dents, obviously.
Splitter (if you chose the option) and cup rear spoiler (has a red brake lens)
Mats, sometimes get taken out and sold seperately!! ( the rear one should be an all-in-one which goes across both side connected in...
you lucky git, i had to wait 6 months for mine, you have about 3 weeks to wait, you are soooo lucky!
Glad you stuck with the racing blue, it will be stunning, bet you cant wait now, you were all set for an 8 week wait and now that has been halved and you can really start to get excited now!
yes mate, saved me running it in anyway, bet they gave it the full renault run-in treatment, but it really didnt bother me like I thought it would, I just accepted it and after having waited 6 months I was just glad to get my hands on the car which had no marks whatsoever.
the front splitter is obvious as it is an inch black stip running along the bottom of the body painted bumber. The rear spoiler is also easy as the normal spoiler has a clear brake lens whereas the cup spoiler has a red brake lens.
As for miles, mine came with about 70 on, not sure why but it...
its not mad buying a UK car Danny, a lot of people on here have paid nearly the same as an import without the hassle it brings and you get to add the all important cup options.
If you were to add the options I have to an import car, I paid the same amount and got a UK car from a UK dealer...
i got mine from there and they missed the front splitter off as they said they didnt know it came with it! They ordered it after I gave them the part number as they couldnt find it and after 6 weeks it came.
But then they wouldnt give me any compensation.
it looks like this in some lights

but then this is also a good representation, but you really do need to see it in the flesh tbh, I am in High Wycombe...
i average about 29 with a mix of motorway and town driving using optimax.
my highest is 37 which was driving like miss daisy and my lowest is 18 i think from when i did a trackday
back on topic
i have the racing blue and have had it from the first week in march so was one of the first in the country and i absolutely love it an have never thought once that i am getting bored of it or would like to change it. Everytime i look at it it puts a smile on my face, especially...
thanks, our resident lagerlout!;) It is definitely personal choice and you should really see both in the flesh before deciding.
I ordered the racing blue without even seeing a photo of it as when i ordered it there werent any photos as mine was one of the first in the country and i first saw...
you can get them fitted a load of places, i had my local dealer recommend a place that they use for their vans they have transferred. Should cost about £100-£150
ignore the above as im not sure im talking sense but here is a good insight, even though it is from the year 2000
