i get asked all sorts, and there is just some stuff out of our control, you try dealing with the factory.....its impossible.
Jeremy does his utmost to make everybody happy, he has alot of responsability, he doesnt have to come on...
no, dremels are w**k.........they are weak and the bits you use with them are weak.
polshing using a dremel will be long hard work.
pass me the manifold, take me a day on my bench polisher.
Do i have interest in motorsport!
DO I!!!!!! its my life!
All i care about it driving fast, competitively.
You might know my father, Mike Rushworth, HKAA president, Renault, FIA all that malarkey.
Who else will you have driving?
Jeeze, i dont know any specific figure.
Youll have to measure the CC of the chamber it is now, add the cylinder volume, gasket gap volume and divide it by the chamber volume plus the gasket/squish area volume to get your CR volume.
Then skim till you get what you want, but you dont want to...
yes, it would be lovely to do some serious research, design a decent valve shape as oversize valves arent very available nor cheap.
8 months!!!! what did you do!
Change to independant wishbones! lol
Evening Charles!
I was only speaking to another clio owner (Tony) a few hrs about you.
BMW club and Lawer?
Yes, that was me in the seven, unfortunately too many quick shifts damaged the clutch cover, half the springs are bust lol.
Yes, billy came to bring some tools to see if he could...
i cant remember them either.
But if you run out of flow, you run out of flow, they are on 100% duty.
Id rather get higer flow injectors than up the pressure...unless you only want 211bhp lol
Details.........um, what would you like to know?
the engines capable of well over 350bhp without much work.
The twin plenham manifold off the trophy cars is the most important part, sorting cams and head work are easy.
Could you do it in 2 days, yea, if you worked flat out and had all teh...
well, kinda a contradiction there!
8000rpm, no need if your wanting grunt.....youll just be wasting time sitting with the power falling off.
Megane head vs 7P head, indeed...........would be lovely to have both to test.
Why not (since your a tunning company and can afford it :P) get the...
injectors were changed yes.
But at what pressure is that flow quoted, and what flow figure were you given?
Run out of fuel and you start running lean yes.
They are not special injectors so you can get higher flow ones that will fit fine.
its true............
Engine only come with a rated 166bhp supposedly, but as many seem to have tested they are getting less........so this, dunno...........probably do jack.
Cant see a point at all.
unless they really up their quality control.
use polished ally sheet or thermoplastic with reflective tape.
Carbon is a directionally strong material, and they stuff they use for stressed components are typically strong in 2 directions only, plus its not jsut sheet by kevlar honeycombe, several layers of multidirectional fibre and they...
They dont give any real benefit.
Just control the fuel pressure. Benefit comes from the larger diaphram which responds to load changes better.
If setup correctly and used in the right circumstances then they are good, but the clio isnt one of those good reasons.
