a simple fueling problem.....EITHER too rich or too lean......
to rich and the exhaust needs to be stupidly hot.....or still burning mixture exits. Too lean and it builds up on packing and burns when there is enough.
Nothing too major....
We did a long post on this a while ago.......
so, IMHOP ther is no point in using a fast road profile.....pointless....
you dont remove material from the actual shaft.....the entire cam profile consists of the lobe, ramps flanks and the bae circle.
You decrease the base circle diameter t make the effective cam smaller and thus a longer...
only because the breather system design is very effective on the 172 and taking out its main source of vacuum by not having the breather attatch to the link pipe. WOnt cause anything major, but it would rather have it in, i run the breahter in mine....and it wont stink either...
Piper X only...
i hate reprofiled cams.......waste of money
since you can only remove material, you keep std lift, and just take material off the bottom of the lobe t decrease its diameter.....lousy.

LOL....the facotry will not give info like that and i will be surprised if amy people actally know, they arentvery clued up on their own cars. When regional directors come for meetings, you can throw all sorts of ques at thema nd theyll look at you with a blank face.
easiest to do it yourself...
fully synths will typically double the drain periods, so i would say 4-6 thousand miles depending on traffic conditions. I.e. city use = shorter drain periods.
5w just means you can use in in really freezing conditions and actual operational temp viscosites are near the same. Mobil motorsport...
well that solves that then....Ta.
