Yes but because the fuse is blown its not getting an ignition feed and thinks you've left the radio on with the car off so turns itself off so it doesn't flatten your battery.
Same reason why it doesn't come on and off with the car, check the fuse already! :rasp:
Want something I can remove without tools though tbh, was thinking of some form of clip but haven't really found anything. Its no biggie now, i've worked out how to get it in and out easily the first few times was fun though .
Knocked a false floor up for mine, bit of a pig to get out as its in one piece but its not too bad now i've got the knack.
Velcro is all good and well but it you hit anything properly then theres no way in hell its going to hold it down.
Strange, if its not causing a problem i'd leave it well alone tbh. How fast does it flash? Rapid flashing usually means that the immobilser isn't recoqnising the chip in the key.
It doesn't, theres a cold start map which makes it run much richer than the normal running map. Gives the same function as a choke in effect but its not quite a stone age.
My magnex pops away nicely when its warm, have a good while on the motorway at 70 and it'll pop like a good un for a while...
The halogen clusters are not designed to work with the different wavelengths of light that hid bulbs will produce, hence they do not focus the light properly and scatter the beam. I've seen it done so many times with the saxo/corsa crew and you might as well drive round will your full beam on...
Forget about the differences in headunit until you've checked the fuses. Yes they're all rated differently as different fuses blow at different currents.
Just look in the passenger compartment fuse box and you'll be able to see if the fuse is blown by just looking at it.
Its easy peasy on the small engined models, remember doing the one on my old 1.2 16v in a few hours. Was much more fun on the 1.6 and will be a right hoot on the 172, doing it in a few weeks so will find out.
Haven't heard that one before (not saying your wrong), has it always done it? Or only started recently?
But seeing as the mirror lights don't work i'm still going on fuse.
Do not put a hid kit in the standard halogen clusters please, if you want xenons then get the proper clusters. People coming the other way like to see.
Because they haven't sold enough RS models to make it financially viable for them to make one, and that would've been in the normal Mk2 Ph2-> Clio manual.
Theres also F29 to check as well, that feeds the radio too. But certainly sounds like its not getting an ignition feed.
Would say F7 though because that feeds the courtesy mirror lights as well.
