Just fitted some nightbreakers to my full beam (already covered on dip :rasp: ;)) and they're pretty damn good. Deffo improvement over what was in there already which i'm assuming were standard bulbs.
The oil pressure switch screws in the block by the oil filter, the level sender is the one that screws down into the sump. And the knock sensor will be the top one underneath the lower inlet.
Had the same thing on my 1.6, F1s on the front some avons on the rear. Thought it was great fun in the wet until it caught me out and punted me into a curb/railings blew a side airbag and bent the wishbone, balljoint and subframe (slightly). Not a trick I will be repeating.
The 4wd system is crap iirc. Would be interesting if you could put a big power 1.8T engine in it with adapted quattro, could make quite a weapon. Well you'd never see it coming thats for sure.
As rough as a badgers arse after 10 pints of guinness and a chicken vindaloo. Its better some times than others though, getting better now the weather is warming up again.

I've got some ultra white ones from ultraleds and they're a pretty good match imo. Depends how much of a perfectnist you are I guess, i'm not a fan of the no sidelights took.
Yep thats the one i've used for ages. Because its an extreme pressure oil and all the additives in it as you say, it isn't the nicest smelling thing in the world. I made the mistake of leaving some used stuff in my boot before taking it up the tip the next morning, even though it was in sealed...
Use the Air Con a lot? All of mine have done it where i've just switched the a/c off straight away when i've stopped somewhere. The moisture in the evaporator sits there and doesn't dry out and then it starts to smell, theres treatments you can get to kill off the bacteria making the smell.
