Very helpful, i've seen it happen with stuff left exposed to welding for long periods of time and its the same principle so I can't see why it isn't a problem otherwise why are there aftermarket headlights (not just clio ones) that specifically say no the use the with hid bulbs despite having...
Yes because thats what UV does to untreated plastics over time. Why do you get aftermarket clusters which say do no use with hid bulb? And others which specifically state they can be used.
Yes but you'd have to check they can work with them, as if they're not made of UV resistant plastic the UV light from the hids will break the plastic down and it will just crumble over time.
Ah got ya, yep definetly do that or you'll be making life a lot harder for yourself. Thought it'd be common sense jack both sides up really, especially when you having both side struts out and it should be on stands not just a jack.
I've always managed to get them off easily enough without touching the arb? Just have to watch the driveshaft gaitor as said as the bottom of the strut likes to try and put a hole in it.
Yes but put uprated halogens in as posted, end of. Theres nothing else you can do, bar get some angel eyes for the projectors and put hid bulbs in them, and most of them you see can't work with hid bulbs as they're not made of UV resistant plastic.
It doesn't turn off on full throttle and no it isn't ran through the ecu but the ecu has to authorise it before the a/c compressor clutch will engage.
Could explain but easier to post this, answers all the questions I think.

The idle should be corrected to counter for the extra load of the a/c compressor, all of the 3 i've had did anyway. It may dip for a second or two but then it should pick back up to normal idle.
A Ph1 will use the ISCV to pick the idle up similarly as it would on cold start.
I'd deffo primer and laquer it, makes it look 1000x better once you've done it. Painting, as they say is all the prep.
Liking the smoked repeaters, look good with the wheels and badges.
