Wouldn't have thought so as normal aircon doesn't need to know the cabin temp, its there so the climate can adjust the heat to bring the cabin upto temp.

Yeh the Ph1 engines don't have an engine cover and are cable throttle.

Get this in mine with the auto lights when there on, is proper annoying. Have just taken to clicking them on and off full beam quickly, does the job still is a pain though.

Think trouble arises with the Ph1 door cards not fitting the Ph2 dash.

It'd fit the Ph2, an 05 will make it a Ph3 where they used the naff (imo) digital fuel and temp gauges and move the trip comp.

A real strong adhesive like epoxy might work but whether it'll look the same is debatable, still gotta be worth trying before forking out for a new one considering what they cost.
