Just (hopefully) sorted the sender, just got to let the sealent go off and heres to hoping it doesn't do anything else.
Its been fine up until this and it still makes me smile but by god is it pissing me off this month.
Lets hope its on its best behavour from now on.
Thats what I wanted to hear, have had the sender off and it quite loose so hermatited and and screwed it back in and heres to hoping it does'nt leak anymore, fingers crossed.
I've got that in at the moment and mine sounds the same as it did before on 5w-30 though I always thought this engine sounds quite tappenty on idle.
People seem to like 5w-40, will be using that next time.
Good stuff, looks like the sensor itself is fine then and it'll just need taking out cleaning and resealing and all will be fine again I hope.
Mine goes off and in every other car I've seen it doesn't go off until you start the engine so wondered if it was fooked.

Any engine as long as its got the trip computer fitted (so dynamique or 172) can you turn the ignition to the run position but don't start the engine and tell me if the oil warning light goes out after a few seconds...
This month is officially a bad car month :dapprove:, first an oil seal fails in the gearbox ruining the clutch and prompting me rebuilding the gearbox and fitting a new clutch.
Then the sump plug starts leaking so I changed the washer, filter and oil, then the dipstick starts leaking so replaced...
Looks very similar to the pioneer units, have seen them instore but i've never really looked at them.
Probably best to go and have a play and see what you think.
You can flash them yourself, you can even put a normal firmware on to get active standby back properly if you've got an orange one.

You don't have to take the wipers off, its under the drivers side scuttle panel in a black box with a single small bolt in it.
I've changed mine on both me old 1.2 that had climate and my 1.6 with normal aircon and the procedure is the same for both.
Its not any lower, its just stiffer springs, dampers and antiroll bars. Having come from a 1.2 with normal suspension there is a marked difference between the two, the 1.6 holds on much better in the bends before understeer rears is head and thats with the shitty tyres i've got on.
The dynamique is the "sport" (and I use the term loosely) model for the normal clio, it gives you :
Sports Seats
Red Needles In The Dials (Ph2 only I think?)
Dark Dash instead of the shitty two tone thing in the others
Rear Spoiler
Alloys
Sports Steering (1.4 and 1.6 only)
Sports Suspension...
Lets hope not lol, i'll email them and ask I guess.
Don't suppose you've got any pictures of yours I could have a look at ? Even if it was a bodge just want to have a gander.
Hmm, that bad eh ?
The BMC one looks possible, reading on 2modified it says its not a specific kit and some modification may be needed which isn't a problem as long as its not too drastic.
Can't see to find any specific info on it and the BMC site only lists a CDA for the V6, has anyone...
I'm after an induction kit for my 1.6 just for a bit of noise, don't really want just the go the k&n route because of heat soak issues though i'm aware i'm going to suffer from it with pretty much anything.
Was wondering what people recommended ? Don't really want to be spending viper money as...
I've never seen one before out and about, and theres only 2 on autotrader.
They should have done an RSi in the Ph2 as well, would have liked half leather seats.
Think its designed to run on a G4 though i'm not sure.
The disks have both the mac installer and the windows installer on them so I imagine its just a matter of installing the mac version and away you go, not sure though having never owned a mac.
The reason you need the old versions it because...
They crop up on ebay every now and again.

I'm no audiophile so I wouldn't like to make a recommendation really. I've got infinity components up front and infinity coxials in the rear, sound pretty good to me.
