Hmm, my old 1.2 never rattled or made a sound yet this 1.6 makes a right little racket though I don't notice it anymore.
It appears its had some petrol pipe put round one of the bars on the handle (difficult to explain) to make it pinch better when its closed to stop the noise but it doesn't...
You'd be able to take a feed of the existing interior light in the roof, not sure how much current it'd be able to take.
You could always use it to pull a relay in to turn the neons on and take a power feed from the battery or the fag lighter, only possible problem is that the light fades down...

Let me know if there going i'll have them off you, have almost given up finding any on ebay or elsewhere.
Would be nice to find someone breaking a mk2 with climate as i'd have the bits off and convert mine, would be a 1 in a million to find one though methinks.
Car looks good, wish I still had climate :dapprove: would've been nice to have the alarm too but not to worry.
The RS front grill makes the front end look so much better, I would also recommend you getting it colour coded its a massive improvement on the look of the whole car...
Just a dials test, puts the dash in diagnostic mode so you can make sure all the needles and lights work.
Also if you press the trip button again once its beeping it'll tell you the fuel in the tank in litre and then goes on to show the dial fault codes.

Just to echo the magatec comment its shite don't use it, makes my car sound like a bag of spanners on idle.
Going to have a few hundred miles out of it and i'm changing it for some 5w-40.
Grill was a Renault job only £42, took about 5 mins to fit it old one just clips off new one clips back in.
Got the colour coding done by a girl from peterbourgh that a few people have used off here, just post the parts off and they come back sprayed, would have been £120 for the front, rear...
I had a similar problem when it wouldn't idle properly from cold and would sometimes stall if you blipped the throttle, was the throttle body at fault so I had it replaced under warrenty thought apparently taking it off and cleaning it up works too for a much cheaper option (throttle body was...
Yep wasn't best pleased when I did it especially when it made the loudest noise in the world and everyone looked at me :o.
Was thinking about getting it refurbed but to be honest they've all got some sort of mark on them from when i've had them so they'd all need doing, i've been quoted £30 a...
Had it cc'ed a few weeks now just haven't been bothered to clean it to a presentable condition, so here it is in all its colour coded glory.
Looks so much better, rs grill sets it off nicely too.
In desperate need of some spare 1.6 16v badges to spray silver if anyones got any...
My old 51 plate 1.2 had 36k on it and the syncro on 1st was completely non co-operative, wouldn't go in at all whilst moving until it'd had about 30mins to warm up. 2nd started getting stiff to get in too towards the end, was one of the reasons I got shot of it didn't fancy sorting it out...
Changed mine when I rebuilt the gearbox, made quite a big difference to the change its dead smooth now. That was only with bog standard 75-80 castrol stuff.
Off the top of my head it holds 3.5l I think.
I know this isn't clio related but I need as many people to see it as possible.
Was converting a mates navman 520 to tomtom5 for him and accidentally deleted the wrong file :(.
If anyone has one then could they do me a MASSIVE favour and activesync the 520 and post a copy of the file:
My...
I accidentally overfilled mine to the same level, had about an extra 500ml in it.
Drove round with it for a week before I realised what i'd done and it never seemed to do it any harm, just sucked the extra out the dipstick hole with a 500ml syringe and a bit of tubing.
