how do you you plan on unloading the suspension? you going bridge jumping or something?
as previously mentioned this is now the official renault fix for the issue, so its safe to assume its not dangerous

yeah it is now possibly the most expensive airbox ever made! LOL
i might fit a NACA duct into the under floor and run an air feed off that, then i would have 2 feeds :)

when i ordered the airbox originally, i ordered it with 2 85mm ports to use in conjunction with 2 BMC CDA's as i thought that was the way to go. Then when trying to package it so the filters fitted under the engine covers was basically "a mare"!!!
so i decided to bin the BMC's and...

Airbox is back from Reverie, its had a custom filter tray made housing 2 x K&N pannel filters
now with twin 100mm ports (old ones were 85mm)
some 4inch "donkey dick" arrived from DT, apparently its safe...
QH, one of the biggest parts companies in the uk, i use them
QH belt kit is fine
just as said, make sure they fit a genuine renault aux belt KIT and not just the belt (well thats my opinion on it anyway)
please please please PLEASE!!!!!! by all means get the cambelt done with after market bits = fine (ask the make of the parts used!)
BUT, get a full aux belt KIT fitted (only available from renault @ £110, otherwise in 12-24months you'll be pulling it apart again to replace the idler/tensior on...
^to get a good finish it needs to be polished to f**k in the first place
to be honest, leave it alone, as the plenum will run hotter, sounds dumb, but technically you're reducing the surface area and thus reducing its cooling (ok only by a few degrees, but still)
yeah as Lee says the roll cage in the MK2 cup race bolted to the arch, NOT the suspension mount
the mk2 racers were stock RS shells with a cage in them (i'm keeping it simple here) the rear suspension mounting point remained stock, we ran cup racer rear shocks on the stock rear points for 10K...
