Even though it's Christmas day, entertainment only last so long before boredom kicks.:dapprove:
Had planned a 1/2 day of car cleaning. It's raining and can't get on it. Better not rain on Boxing Day!!!
Alot of negative press for the Pulsar here. Yeah unfortunately the drive train is unreliable and fragile. Clutches are expensive, but then again most 4WD performance cars cost a fair bit to have a clutch done.
As for the engine, as standard they're at the top of their tree in terms of stress...
I'm going have to do that do to Rich. I'm thinking about sending the driver's one back and getting another though I suspect the same will happen!:dapprove:
Now the lettering on the seat cover is coming off!!! This top's it all, Snap On seat covers really are sh*t!!!  .
£25.00 each, slide around, constantly need pulling back over the seat, now the lettering is peeling off, been on less than a month!!!
A warning to all: DONT BUY SNAP...
Yeah I did hear the hoses supplied with the kit are too long. Is this the cause of the soft travel? Or is it simply to do with fitting or just the nature of most 4 piston kits in general?
After searching for this topic, a few of you who have purchased the Comp Brake kit say the pedal feel is somewhat softer than with the original calipers.
Can't say I'm too keen on this. Has this all been resolved now with either/or bleeding the system and a fair few more miles of usage...
Just wondered if any of you out there are using Shed's big brake kit using the comp brake items?
If so for how long? how does it compare to other big brake kits? and overall opinion, well worth doing?
All replies appreciated.:)
Thank you.
It may be known as a GTR but in theory it's replacement for the deleted Skyline GTR. Hence the styling at the rear end!:rasp:
As for it's so called 3.3 0-60 it's near impossible with that kind of h.p. and weight that it can produce such a figure no matter how sophisticated it's traction...
Too damn heavy for a start. Shares similar front end as 350 Z. Which it shouldn't, its a Skyline!
Damn motor industry pisses me off.  Theres not as much need for cars to be heavier with each new incarnation as we're told there is.
So far I've found that Meguiars Gold Class is the best shampoo. Certainly a difference in a pleasing shiny finish.:)
Advised to buy Duragloss since the Meguiars is nearly out.
Oh dear, I didn't realise those omex units were of that kind of money. So we're saying circa £1600 to buy, fit, and map the unit?
Who's undertaking the work for you with you application of uprated cams?
If you could let me know how you get on would be much appreciated matey.:) :)
