is yours a centrefugal charger then? as its not really commonly set up in that way you normally have the supercharger between the head and the throttle bodie its only really these centrefugal setups you see plumbed in the same way as a turbo
you cant run twin/multiple bodies with a supercharged setup as the bodies mount after the charger ie
throttle bodie-supercharger-head
whereas a turbo set up goes
turbo-throttle bodie/s-head
but you can only run a throttle bodie or multiple if you can make up a sealed plenum chamber to bolt...
you do all know the drum brakes will always pull up better than the rear discs!
hence the reason in the olden days cars with drums all round didnt need a servo. only reason they are no good is because of there design the heat up too quickly and fade,, dont know who said drums are easier to...

i had the same problem on a polo that had some accident damage,, noticed the engine mounts were adjusted too far over to the o/s of the car and on hard cornering the engine was leaning on the driveshaft leaving no free play in it.
felt terrible.. like the car was falling to peices.
so yeah...
dont understand why that would impress you or why thats a better way of doing it???
airguns do no damage at all if you know how to use one with the correct sockets etc to protect alloys, and do nothing but speed the job up?
they should always be torqued manually afterwards but i dont see how not...

you have to wiggle it quite alot and beleive me it does take a bit of force - pulling straight up will do nothing you need to jiggle things abit :rasp:
sounds stupid, but make sure you have the wiper arm lifted off the screen when you do it, otherwise the spring will act on it and stop you...

every panel on the car looks a very slightly different colour, and its never been in a bodyshop from new!
other than ofcourse my wing.
to be honest i've never had a problem removing wiper arms and i've never needed a tool on any ive ever come across- remove the nut spray some wd down it and pull it off.
some one said be very carefull when pulling them off- its not that delacate they take a fair bit of force but always come off.

thats what i would say it is without looking at it- it can be mistaken for a tapping noise too.
have had a few problem with hydraulic lifters collapsing on the smaller ecotecs
i recently bought a pattern wing from ebay (amazed at how well it fits by the way-with a lot of fiddling all the gaps are perfect)
and due to the fact i couldnt be without my car to have it painted on the car, i gave the wing and the paintcode to the paintshop next door to the garage a work at...
ive since ordered a surround for mine, but here was my first attempt - wasnt that easy at all but the backbox was designed to fit an rs turbo fiesta which didnt help matters....
all i did weld the exhaust on then mark the edges, cut a rough circle shape (but too small) then just cut bit by bit...
fitted mine tonight quite easy took 2 hours though.
had to take wiper arms and scuttle panel off,
release all wheel arch liner
3 or 4 bolts along the door shut
2 on bottom of door
2 along top of wing under bonnet one upside down
2 bolts for bumper under wheelarch spat need to be released and...
well first you need to answer the question of how much too short it is.
then go from there. put the old box back on the car, bolt the mount up and look at what is missing.
if its just a straight section then easy you need a length of pipe of the same diameter and 2 sleeves to join it together...
