yeah course you can.
you will need to measure the diameter of the pipe next to where its been cut and take that measurement to a motorfactors to get a sleeve.
if it was just a straight cut with none of the pipe actually cut out you may find you will need to shorten it a tad.
you may even find...
yeah - they will have cut the original backbox off so you are left with the 2 halfs of pipe of the same diameter.
so you buy a sleeve to fit over the 2 parts and join them together
I dont think you will find thats why the studs are breaking. Its more down to the way they are fitted.
on cossie YB engines you only torque the exhaust manifold studs to 10nm which is hardly nothing - if you torque them any more than that due to the expansion rates of the different metals after...
yep you can give it to a (competent) garage and they will figure it out.
should be about £10 worth of sleeve and anywhere from half hour to an hour max labour
yeah i have the same problem. seems ok when the fuel tank is full though.
feels quite unstable on wet motorways when tank is near empty.
on quite worn tires though.
just had a look at this blackjax on google..
The Black Jax 5 system is Cliffords state of the art Carjacking response and vehicle recovery system. It will function with or without any alarm system to provide you top of the line security and protection of your car. It allows the carjacker to...
im interested in this too ive got to fit one to mine monday night after work. i looked at it and thought scuttle front bumper and lights needed coming off?
its dead easy to repair the wires. it took me a few goes to sus how the box comes apart but thats about it. - we dont use CLiP,, we use a crypton proscan that does the job perfectly. it throws up all different fault codes that are all easily cleared.
out of the amount of them ive done ive never...
you lot have to be joking!!!!!!!
£300 job!
You dont need a new loom at all, ive done loads we had a week we had 2 in the same day with all different faults leading down to that box rubbing through the wires.
remove the top half of the box, disconnect battery, unbolt the ecu and unplug the...
the compressor stall that everybody including myself loves the sound of is actually what does the damage- but you only start encountering problems running 2bar upwards they saw the turbine shaft twists on itself due to stalling on built up pressure.
never actually seen it though.
dump valves do...
what spring is it front or rear? im sure the shocks on the V6 arent unique to the clio - find out the renault part number and look what other models they are fitted to.
phone euro's and they are probably about 30 quid each.
Right i had a problem with a coolant temp sensor on my 1.2 16v which i replaced, and tonight after work i plugged the scanner in to delete the code it left. On going in to engine management it came up with the following faults..
1 brake pedal A/B comparison (which cleared its self as soon as i...
its negative pressure ie vacum - and if you think about it more pressure (vacum) means there is a resistance causing said vacum to build in the plenum as opposed to flowing freely in to the engine.
it may be as said the gearbox mount, but something that dosn't seem to get mentioned on this site is the amount the gearstick actually moves compared to other cars.
if you drive alot of cars (i do as a mechanic) you really notice it - first time i serviced one i thought it needed mounts.
and...
thats how i payed for my car seller wanted 4k and he owed renault finance 3.5 - made a 3.5k bankers draft out to renault finance and gave him the difference was no hassle at all
yep its because they are universal application can go on either the front or the back of the hub - ie if you only had one nipple at one end and you fitted it on the back of the hub the nipple would be pointing down - and as has been said air rises in fluids so you would get no air out.
you would just use the scooby floorpan.
(not using subaru as a base)its not difficult at all if you're not fussed about the renault electrics.
if i were to do it i'd probably base it on a ford.. siera floorpan or something then if you wanted to use the renault engine still you'd have to get a...
yeah i've got one, its great for fluid changes as its quick, but you say you want your 4pots spot on- there is NO better way then a mate in the car pumping the pedal
pedal down-open nipple close nipple-pedal up
pedal down-open nipple close nipple-pedal up
and carry on - basically you only ever...
you need to see what you do and dont have or you have no chance!
start at the light cluster and work your way back.
with it in reverse ignition on do you have at the bulb
1 an earth, 2 a live
if you have a live and no earth clean the connecter on the cluster.
if you have no live do you have a...
not water it wont, if you splash through a sizeable puddle and your engine gets a mouthfull (airfilter wont stop it) you will be left with conrods the shape of bananas and an engine about as much use as a chocolate tea pot.
dont beleive people do jobs like this on there cars with crimp connecters!
just a bodge way of doing things in my oppinion - solder them and heatshrink them.
to be fair crimps are probably better quality than the renault wiring is anyway, but still wouldnt be happy with the job doing it that way
