oh well. i nearly bought a trophy from guildford but they backed out of the deal
Reading the replies i have remembered a few other bits
The Heat Shield was replaced due to a rattle and what had happened was that the bolt holing it on was corroded and broke and the shield got damaged.
Currently the car has new wipers and the plastic wiper cover thing has a hole in it...
I phoned up The dealer in Reading and was told to bog off for the shocks as they are only covered for 12 months.
The reason for the tyres lasting is that most of my miles are motorway.
Hello there
So last year I got cheesed off with Audi and got rid of the TT and went back to renault and got a 182 in July.
The last renault I had was a 5 Turbo so I have experianced the customer service and it was no surprise that it hasn't changed (CRAP!!)
So the reason for writing...
went in Renault Guldford/godalming yesterday and they had one in the showroom. No demo (pooh) but talked to the bloke and was told that 13.5K was not a problems if i wanted one.
Anyboday managed a cheaper price (FF not included as i have no friends)
I was listening to the radio the other day and they were on about people going to france or other countries to have their car serviced.l
The cost differance was amazing.
I was wondering if anybody out there has done this as the 182 is due for its 24K service now

I found this which states the law. No looking good if you want it to pass its mot in a few years
Type Approval 94/20/EC - Mechanical Couplings
The introduction of a type approval procedure for mechanical couplings is intended to harmonise standards of their construction. It should...
I Wouldnt say that the car is too light to tow , but there might be something else. I wish that they did make one as I too need to tow a Jetski and at the momnet have to use the wifes 206 diesel (urgh)
bsimmer3000 , where do you ski from?
I dont think it will work on a 6230. you need the nokia phones with the larger screen 6600 for example.
As for the outlay there isnt anything additional. The phone only uses GPRS for the traffic updates and to get this you need full internet GPRS turned on and not just WAP GPRS.

I wish that they did do a towbar as i have to borrow the Wifes Diesel 206 to tow the Jetski with and it is not my cup of tea.
I have even contemplated getting rid of the 182 and going back to a S3 because of the towbar.
chris
I have sent you a PM.
I paid £60 for the GPS on ebay from singapore and i already had all the rest of the kit.
Route66 has a brill feature in that it downloads all the traffic info and routs you around the problems.

I think that there is one for the Leon as i used to have a S3 with a removable towbar and they are very similar.
They removed the bar behind the bumper and futted a new one with the lock already welded on
