I appreciate the reply. Your right from what I have read the cup has no wheel speed sensors hence no abs and has its speed signal from the gearbox. But the 182 has abs and uses the abs as a speed signal also. The reason I ask about a 182 is there is more choice when looking to purchase. And I'm...
What do you lot do with the abs on the 182 that are used on track. I have read the the speedo runs off the wheel speed sensor. Does the Clio 182 gearbox have a take off to run a speed sensor?
Hi all. Thinking of possible buying a Clio Rs to you on road rallies. So looking for as much info as possible. How do you lot do away with airbags, abs etc. Are they any good as a road rally car. Reliability is a must
Haha ye I suppose not, I just think Id have more fun in a fwd car. And no disrespect to any of you v6 lovers but for the money they are fetching, personally I'd rather a frs.i think maybe ill just keep and my eye out for a very tidy trophy/r27 or even better a bargain trophy/r27 that needs some...
ye I pretty much have haven't I. I was just kind of hoping there was cheaper alternatives instead of the frs. As they are a lot of money to justify something that would be parked up 90% of the time. It's obvious by looking at for sale at that the v6 is really holding its value. And I think they...
I'm after something fun and a bit special. I don't car about running costs as I will be mostly garaged and cleaned. Was just looking for an alternative to spending a lot of money on a focus Rs. They seem the only real thing that has a huge following and feel special. Even tho the limited numbers...
Do you not think the r27 is pretty cheap. I've seen some for the same price as a trophy already. I prefer the look of the 197 and the newer age of the car is a plus for me. And easier to find a mint low mileage example.
Ye I agree the trophys are holding there money compared to a normal 182. Do you lot think the r27 will hold its money and have the same kind of following as the trophy
Morning all. I'm in the lookout for a clio. Can you lot tell me what clios are limited number. Want something a can keep clean/concourse and hopefully will hold its value. I really like the 182 throphy and the r27. Just wondering if there are any I don't know about. Thanks all
