Yeah...awesome bits of kit...they come with an upgrade ecu chip, so you just swap the standard one out and put the upgrade in for a few extra horses. Must have cost the previous owner a fortune :)
I will echo this opinion.
At first I thought it was way too loud and possibly not fitted correctly....but the car definately resonates inside and makes it sound worse than it is...from the outside it sounds awesome!! Got my girly to drive it, while I followed in her lupo gti  ...it...
Yeah I remember seeing your original thread actually (White16valver) cheers.
And good call about the blue paint on them, will use a tissue or rubber glove (nice!) when I have to remove them.
That must have been a really anal MOT man! Like you say they are a nice colour light, the xenons...
Yup those are the kiddies.
I wasn't expecting much either...was just going to put up with whatever they looked like, but they are damn good.

Hey guys!
Just thought I'd share a couple of pics of my motor with some PIAA H222 Xtreme 5w sidelight bulbs fitted (for reference). I originally purchased the piaa led's but upon recieving and fitting them they looked properly carp...way too blue (and 1 was broken anyway).
So I sorted a...
It does seem a bit hippocritical that replacement sidelight bulbs are not yet legal (E marked).....but manufacturers are allowed to put LED's on new cars!
I suppose its not as bad if they are running lights and not sidelights, they dont have to be too bright.
Ah I see......still illegal then.
They are the same as the german plates TBH they look so similar to english plates....and are not misrepresented in any way and can be clearly read. + they look better than UK plates
I always thought it was something to do with the ecu, learning the pace of the drive....if on a go slow it tames everything down...and when on rag it does some trickery and makes things more lairy!
It might just be me though!!
An italian tune up is a myth (maybe) referring to when owners...
Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it.
I've sort of decided to put up with it being loud after all....there's no point getting rid of an expensive exhaust system when (if) there's nothing really wrong with it.
So my plan of action would be to get it checked out. If there's nothing they can...
Yeah I thought that....it does have a box there though, I'll investigate further.
The clio is easier to enjoy than the mini for sure, the handling is out of this world! like my old 106gti...but with loads of power :)
Plus I'm getting near 37mpg...with some mixed driving.
So a big thumbs up...
I've got osram diadem jobbies in mine at the mo...look o.k...very blue. But philips do silvervisions. Normally just get mine from ebay.

Silvervisions...
Yeah, after a bit of search action I thought it was a btb.....I dont know if its meant to be this loud, or if theres something wrong. Will have to get to a meet somewhere at some point.
I'll be going to renault soon to get a splitter.....it used to have one but the previous owner already...
A bump from me on this thread.....some pictures as promised.
Not much you haven't seen before!!
Can anyone identify my exhaust system.....I am finding it way too loud (due to the non-existent middle silencer??) and would like to change it for a janspeed.
Cool, I'm not into the whole carbon thing, I'll leave that to the jap machines. How does the splitter fit on?
I hope not, and I've already spotted the rattles (on the test drive!), but I expected this and it can only add character :)
Give me a couple of days to get it and give it a good...
