Dunno, but that's the 2nd spring they have put on the ns, first time might have been wrong one supplied, but second time? Reckon I should ask for a refund or third time lucky?
Ok here is the ns gap, looks way, way big to me. Then picture of the ns spring which looks totally diff to the os one. os one is much tighter coiled and ride height on that side isn't anywhere near as bad. Any thoughts?!
Hi, it doesn't seem to have gotten any better and the ns is about an inch higher than the os. I took it back yesterday and they agreed it wasn't right, so were swapping the ns spring today. Just picked it back up after being told that it's now level and its still miles higher up on the ns, not...
ok cool, I'll see how it is in a few days. just looks very high and feels a bit like a boat at the moment. if all else fails I'll just swap for some prolines and switch insurance. cheers
Heyup, had some new front springs on today as one had snapped. Thought about getting prolines, but worked out a bit more I couldn't do with insurance hassles and the roads round here crap, bad enough ride already. Thing is it now looks really high at the front! Looks really odd. Is it likely to...
I got the iTrip Auto and it is crap. I don;t use it as it is too annoying having to retune it every few miles.
They do have a new versionw ith some smart tune on it, ut the quality is bobbins even when no interference.
I use CDs instead, but am looking to get a new header with either a mini...
No idea on part number - I heard they were 130 quid from Renault so got one used instead. I called Just Renault and they knew what I wanted, came next day. I think its just called a heater resistor pack or rheostat.
Its under the drivers side scuttle panel.
In situ it just has a black connector exposed but when you undo it the lower bit is a long metal heat sink.
I oredred one first then knew what I was looking for, but you can't miss it really. Would recommend a wiper arm puller as mine were on really...
I have a space under the end block. There are a couple of black 182s that park in the open air bit, never seen who was driving them though they aren't in my block.
I'm from Aston its defo not posh! My folks still live there though..
Boosh, black Clio with red Badge - do you work at the Homo Office by any chance? I've seen one outside a few times, I live in the flats next door...
Hi there,
my car failed MOT today on a driveshaft boot split, they are recommending getting a new drive shaft as said it might be worn.
What would a typical price be for a replacement and fitting?
Ta, Andy
Thats what I thought in my post above - FTC and then VDSL as mentioned my mate is a network designer at BT labs in Martlesham / Ipswich.
Do you work for Lucent as I heard they would be doing the kit in the cabs?
What sort of time frame are we looking at for a city like Sheffield - I live bang in the city so I'm hoping we might get it quite early on.
Am I right in thinking it will be fibre to the curb then VDSL to home?
I agree most ISPs will use BTs network products such as data stream / IP stream, but some will use other back haul providers like 186K.
My mate works for BT too at the labs in Martlesham, he was a designer of 21CN, BT Vision and no idea what the next project he is working on, its all hush hush...
Are you on DSL Max at the moment i.e. 8 meg as that sync is really low and ADSL2+ degradation is worse that ADSL on longer lines so you could get worse speeds.
I'm on be, they are excellent, uTorrent is showing almost 2TB (up and down) since Jan and not heard a peep from them!
Buy yourself a regular laptop and use iDeneb or Kalyway. I have a Dell D830 dual booting between OSX and Windows. I bought my laptop last year and its identical spec to my mates Macbook Pro apart from it looks like it cost half the price (it did!)
defo, I'm running OSX in VMWare under Vista as I'm jumping on iPhone app store bandwagon in hoping of making some cash (SDK is really only supported on Mac) and I'm really not liking OSX at all
I've tried about 5 positions higher and lower and still taps the screen though! Has anyone got a close up of their resting positions and I'll use that as a guide?
If that don't work it means I've bolted the motor and mechanism back in wrong. Arse, thought it went way too easy!
