    I am now potentially buying a 197! I am unsure of the last timing belt change so I would have to do one! My question is, does the 197 essentially have the same engine as a 172/182? In terms of locking tools etc for the cambelt? Is it the same cambelt kit and dephaser etc? Many thanks!

    I have looked through the procedure in the manual yes. I just didn't know if I have to turn the crank back before fitting the camshafts to the head to give some clearance to the valves or not!

    Update ----I got the final tools on wednesday and started to dismantle tonight. Well, i've got the head off and removed the 8 valves that were in the cylinders with no-compression. I found that i have 4 bent inlet valves but exhaust valves are fine. I put parafin in the head, in the other two...
