My local dealer had one in stock at the time....maybe they really needed the sale before xmas ? I didnt question them just collected it a.s.a.p. Spoke to a friend in the trade at the time who tried to get one cheaper but he came back and said buy it....:D

Bought one for my wife last September...not fuel injected though.Managed to find two owner with f.s.h only 28000 geniune mileage.Had the timing belt done but apart from that everything else was ok, it is a great runabout.Pretty qiuck and has been reliable.Build qualiy not bad, several rattles...

Try and drive both...then decide :D

Yes ordered it, but only took a day or so to get it.

Had a knocking on mine when starting off.... on the left hand side..turned out to be a metal cover in front of the p.a.s. resevoir hitting when taking up the drive.I have placed a strategically piece of rubber in between the two and silence no more knocking.

Well i can definitely say the MAGNEX full systems fit late model 172s with two lambda sensors...had mine fitted at Demon Tweeks this week.Fits perfect and sounds so good. (2002) CUP. :D

You can lock doors using key....but the boot is always open.Immobiliser is ok though.If you check alarm manual it tells you from number of beeps where problem is.

Mine does the same.....4 beeps telling me that someone has tried to start the car...Havent taken it back yet :(

I drove a Caterham with paddle clutch, was a nightmare in traffic...on/off took ages to pull of without stalling..very embarassing..:oops:

I rang Demon Tweeks today to enquire about MAGNEX cat back system was told if my car has two lambda sensors then they could not supply/fit a cat back system.....only option was rear box only from DEVIL or REMUS.....My car has the two sensors.:confused:
