Just remove the stereo by using removal keys which you can grab for a couple of pound on eBay or your local auto shop. Or just some wire you can push into each of the four holes and pull out. Once done just make sure that all te wires are pushed in correctly and that there are no loose wires...

Hello, Hard to explain without pictures but I need to remove the plastic which surrounds the headunit on a mk2 ph2. The bit that goes around the airvents and headunit. I need to modify it to try and fit a double DIN in. Any ideas? Can't see many screws. Thanks, Jack.

Sorted it out now, my fault. I removed the bit of plasic where you control the height of the headlights near the drivers door. There was a wire to control the height of the lights and another wire just clipped onto the back, must of been some sort of earth link for the lights? Thanks for the...

Okay I have a head unit which has RCA leads going to an amp, this amp will be powering my front components, the amp also has an RCA out which will be going to the amp for my sub, will I have to set as rear out or sub out on my head unit? Hows the best way to configure this? Jack.
