Hi all,
Been a while since I was on here so hope someone can help me out. Mate has a X reg megane that he's asked for some help fitting a new stereo and hands free kit too. Looking to keep the steering wheel remote controls which i assume it's all hooked up similar to how my 2002 clio was...
If you can keep it on charge then plus 1 for sleepcycle
If you use it consistently it really makes a difference,
For those that don't know it uses the motion sensor to detect the phases of your sleep by your motion on the bed and wakes you up at the best time within 15 mins or so before your...
Legend cheers for that that was driving me nuts not being able to find that the other day!! Quite annoying/odd that there's no user guide or even one pager summary type thing available for this.
Roll on ios4 for iPad and getting this on there, maybe with some more features, thatll be awesome...
Two best things I've found about being JB'd is
1 - Intelliscreen - alerts on the lock screen, including the ability to read sms/email direct from there and launch email or sms to respond with one press.
2 - Mywi - allows you to tether without paying anything. Does it very cleverly...
Hi all,
Now newzbin is having to manually verify requests it seems to be not so good for tv shows, flashforward etc.
Anyone got any suggestions for alternatives?
Thanks
Noel
Fuzzy orange: If you've got access to the site you posted the links from, do they have all the firmwares? If so if there's not many could you post all/any for the 5g classic? maybe if I step back one version at a time it'll work?!
Cheers
Noel
Cheers for the links, Have tried to restore but says firmware is incompatible. It's a mac formatted ipod and I've tried on a mac and a pc. So frustrating as the connects2 ipod lead I've got for the BMW apparently will only work with this version!!
Any thoughts on it saying it's incompatible...
Hi All,
I need to get the old firmware files for version 1.0.3 of the ipod classic firmware. If any of you have got these or have a classic that you've had a while they may be in your pc or mac.
On the mac their in ~Yourname/Library/Itunes/Ipod software updates
Or pc C:\Documents and...
Hi all,

I've got the two iso connectors, one for power, illumination etc, the other for the speakers.

Was a sad day...
Hi all,
Hope this is ok in the ICE section?!
I've got a full Clio (2002 52plate) install that as the car is now going I've removed and I'm looking to sell.
So just wondering what the best option is, should I try and sell complete (Stealth shelf, 10inch 3way speakers, headunit, full...
Firstly mods: apologies if this is classed as something for sale feel free to move if more appropriate!
I have two high level speaker output to phono level adapters if anyone wants them? Been having a clear out and they're left over from the days of using amplified bass tubes with rubbish...
Yes the mac should 'just' work to be honest, if not then there's a program called Switchresx I think it is that lets you do completely custom resolutions.
Audio wise, have a look what inputs you've got on your 5.1 system. Ideally you'll have a optical input sometimes called TOSLINK. If so then...
audacity or even windows sound recorder would do the job, you basically need to re-record i.e. hit play on the minidisc with it plugged into the line in as per above post.
Morning all,
Anyone know how I can create iso's on a mac from a video_ts folder?
I'm sure there's a simple way to do it using disk utility then you just change the extension to iso but can't seem to figure it.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Noel
pay for audio hijack pro its well well worth it!! sorry not to help more but its the nuts, not found anything better in the last four years of mac use.
Bear in mind you'll need something for the ip cameras to record to! Depending what it is you're after quality wise etc. If you wanted a really good setup then Geovision is very highly regarded but that requires a pc switched on 24/7 altho so will most recording setups.
For the money that the 2nd hand ones go for you're better getting a new one, decent spec even with base model at £499, Plex is the application you want http://www.plexapp.com/ absolutely amazing, plays anything you throw at it, integration with a whole load of video plugins like Channel 4 on...
Not sure you'll see a massive difference between the mac book and the mac book pro in my opinion. Mate has the pro for audio recording and even he acknowledges the difference is marginal.
Both are excellent though. Def push for the student discount makes a big difference.
