Last active 2003 to 2006 when I had my 172 Cup with white speedlines (DE52 YJW) which I still see around Wrexham. Back now with an albi blue 197, and very happy.

Cheers Yozza, but not me anymore. I part-ex'd it for an Alfa 156 GTA back in February. I've seen it around a couple of times, but not for a few months, so I'm pleased to hear it's still safe and well.

I've just had a test drive too - I'm missing my old Cup (which I had for three years until Feb this year) and getting a bit too used to the GTA. The car I drove was Speed Six's demonstrator in Wrexham. It had only 310 miles and was only 3 weeks old. That might go a long way to explain why it...

Mine went twice on the 172 Cup - first at about 12 months, then again about 2 months before it hit 3 years old. Both times my renault delaer (speed six in Wrexham) replaced the steering wheel without question. Fault was the same both times - rubber thumb grip splitting. Cheers

I part ex'd my beloved Cup for an Alfa at ES Jones in Dobshill near Mold about 3 weeks ago and I'm wondering if anyone on here has bought it? It's got white turinis and a 2x3.5 magnex exhaust. I'm missing it and need to know it's being looked after / ragged as it should be.... Ta

Could have been mine on a test drive from ES Jones at Dobshill. I traded it in on Friday (10th) for an Alfa 156 GTA, and they turned it round quickly and got it on the forecourt within 24 hours. Reg is DE52 YJW, white 17" speedlines. Ace car.

I've had mine done under warranty - cured the knocking noise just fine. I remember when I had it done (mid 03) loads of people were finding the same issue and getting it resolved - there was a note issued to all dealers to confirm it was a known fault and prescribing action to rectify it.

I've got white 17 turinis on my cup. During the course of the 34,000 miles I've covered with these wheels I've had bridgestone potenza and goodyear F1s - both in 205x40x17 size, but I'm now fancying a change. By my reckoning a 35 profile 215 width tyre will have slightly less overall diameter...

I've got loads of mine - cup with white 17" turinis - and if you do a search of previous posts in media you might find some of Nathan H's - his was lowered more than mine and looked fab. I think we're the only two who've fitted white 17s to cups, though some have coloured their original 16s...
