yep mine does this as well! Feels like im driving over a largish stone when on full lock normally when reversing out of my drive way - told the renault guys when i had my 182 serviced and they told me they tightened the suspension or steering mounts (cant remember). This did solve the problem...

Hi guys, Recently ordered some show number plates for my car which are not road legal because of the way I have spaced the lettering. Anyway the plates that I received have been made using what i would describe as a laminating kind of system - because of this the plates look pretty naff close...

Guys after nearly 12700 miles of trouble free motoring, my 182s stop and battery indicator warning lights are showing :( Basically it shows when i start the car (stays on when all other warning lights are out - but only for a few seconds) and goes out when i get up some speed, then comes on...

Thanks for the replies gang! Yep will be getting my tyres changed in the morning - lucky Ive got a pair of PE2s ready to fit as theres only a couple of hundred miles worth of tread left on the ones on there. Would have cried if that happened to a newish tyre. Hi to Iceblue.

I dont think it due to curbing....no one else has driven the car except me for the last couple of months so i should know! Let me post up the pic of the other lump i was talking about...no curb marks on the rim on that side. Here you go...

The thing is there is another smaller lump on the side wall exactly opposite to this one! The only thing that could have done it was i drove over a pretty deep pot hole the other day - but would never have guessed it was bad enough to wreck a tyre.

Guys this is pretty surprising...one of my front exaltos 2 on my 182 has got two lups in the side wall. Dont these tyres have a stiffer tyre wall etc..etc... Have no idea how this could have happened - the fronts need a change anyway but still this shouldnt happen to a tyre of this type - time...

yep my 182 does it too!! I think it sounds pretty cool :) I reckon its either: induction roar (most probable?), air going under the bonnet, or a secret little turbo that renault forgot to tell us about!! lol
