can you get uprated brakes for a 1.2? only really looking at fronts and rear drums are fine. I'm not sure if you can get uprated discs calipers pads etc for a 1.2 ph1 if you can what would be the best option? if i was to try and do a 172 front brake conversion, what would i need? hubs?

Do better brakes reduce the premium at all?

My car passed its MOT on the second attempt yesterday. On Thursday the rear brakes were at 53% efficiency, on Friday they were 60%, enough to pass. I showed them the VOSA document anyway, which they had never seen so they took a copy of it. I thought I'd see exactly how good the rear brakes...

When I am driving...all seems fine. When I press brake pedal, there is like a clicking noise as it slows. Doesnt do it any other time. I've changed front pads before...so might do rears, but unsure what I need to do with them to get pads off as I've never done rears before.
