I havent replaced it yet but just match the CA and buy anything.

^^ reno wanted 84 + vat! lol jokers!!
Well I paid £59 inc 4 year guarantee. Not particularly cheap but the make was recommended to me by a mechanic. They had a cheaper make for £40 with 2y guarantee.

  Mondeo TDCI 130
Banner, made in Austria so should be good.

no no no no!!! Had soooo many problems with them, had dozens play up, our motor factors has stopped supplying them they are that bad, changed to AC Delco.

And they never replace them under warranty, always have some c**k and bull story that the car has a discharge, or needs an alternator! So they never have to replace them!

You have to send them off if you feel there faulty, and they "test" them on there special equipment.

My 2002 cup battery gave up in 08, i replaced it with a vauxhall one as that was what we kept in stock at the time.

We keep Motrio batteries ( cheaper renault alternative), in stock at the min! No problems with them as of yet.

Mine gave up last week, over 6 years old.

Just get the cheapest one you can that has a CCA of 420A. I bought one from Halfrauds that was £70, but had to for convenience as I needed the car there and then!!

I bought a new battery when I bought the car 3 years ago. It didn't need one, but the fluid level was low so just bought one for the sake of it.

I got a Halfords Calcium battery. Was £60 odd quid and comes with a 5 year guarantee, which I havent needed to use yet 3 years down the line.

Oops lol, well dad has had a banner for years and not had a problem. Factors said its a straight swap if its faulty, they just test it with their equipment in the yard.
