Help pls
i have all the gear now to do my upgrade but im looking for a few pointers
my cars a clio 1.2 8v poo grande and im upgrading to a 172, i havethe engine , wiring loom, gearbox, shafts, hubs discs, rear axle, suspension, and keys.
Right
1) will the engine loom plug into my existing interior loom, if so where?
2) do i need the keys for immobilisation or anything?
3) will the onboard computer work or do i need something extra?
4) anything else i need to know?

already looked into getting a 172, but i have spent so much on my car inc, bodywork, interior, ice, and selling the car would get me £2500-£3000 and im looking at £5k plus for a half decent for a 172, £800 all in for the kit to upgrade from 1.2 to 172 and £350 for my old engine and stuff in part exchange so £450 is very cheap for a 172 engine (32k), loom, ecu shafts, gearbox, suspension, rear axle, so why not and its not that much higher on my insurace through adrian flux.
And besides that my brother is a mechanic so labour is naff all!
Costs aside what else do i need to know?
And am i going to come across any major or minor problems!
