15" Buddy Club P1 Wheels

  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
Greetings from New Zealand.
I've bought a set of Buddy Club P1 wheels (15x6.5" 42mm offset) only to find they don't fit over the rear calipers (my car is a 2003 172). I only found this out after I had tyres fitted to them so there's probably little chance of getting my money back for them. :dapprove:
Is anyone able to confirm whether the wheels that K-Tec Racing sell are the same offset?
Also does anyone have any suggestions to make them fit. I suppose I could take to the calipers with an angle grinder....

Thanks

Chris, That's too bad :-( Have you thought of a spacer and longer bolts? How much clearance do you need?

Oh and if you are looking for an NZ euro club - www.eurosport.org.nz I could do with another Renault driver!

Keen to see how it looks - I was thinking about those myself!

I had the same problem with my Toora wheels, i grinded 5mm off each caliper no problems with them what so ever.

you need spacers as they're on an offset which is too small. normally its 37 on a 7'' so your a little way off.

My car is a mark II so the standard offset is 48.5mm so I though going to 42mm would give me more clearance if anything i.e. track will be wider by 6.5mm each side.
