16v decarbon shocks on a 172...possible?

Got a spare set of renault decarbon race shocks for the 16v, and would like to see about fitting them to the Mk1 172, how different are the fittings?

You reckon it could be possible? Or no chance?

Quite possible they'll fit I think the 16V is 54mm and the 172 is definatly 54mm.

rears deffo wont fit. as its a torsion bar on the valver.
