172/182 ITG Filter help

i bought an ITG panel filter today, but went to fit it and it was the wrong size. See the picture below.

It was supposed to be a 182 filter, however its a different shape to the standard filter. Much shorter, and wider at one end so it wont fit into the box.

surely they should be the same size? (renault one in red)

mine was same size as standard reno for my 172

yes they should be identical size.

i fitted a k&n one and it was identical the other day...

i think they have sold you the wrong one.

mine was the same size when i had an itg on my 182 matey

is there anything on the box which says that its for a 182?

I've had a couple of different panel filters including an ITG in my 172 and both were exactly the same size as the OE one

Go test drive your old ph-quick again, park up and swap airboxes

The code should be something like WB-451 IIRC fUbAr.

ive taken it back to K-Tec now... they were just as confused as i was... so i ended up going home with a refund

used to get them for £44 posted can ask if they will still do them if its any help dan ?

that may be a megane 225 filter as i have both and the 225 is smaller and a different shape itg for Clio is bw-351 meg is wb-308
