These young lads have lost the whole meaning of driving and building up your car standards gradually. You can have a lot of fun in a rusty A reg Maestro when your 18 let me tell ya ;) and you definately know the girls like you for you and not just your car :)
21.......you can have more fun in a 182.how do you build up your car standards?

you young lads are like all way too serious dude

will try and answer the question of how do you have a 182 cup at 19:

work hard and be sensible with your money, although im sure me buying the 182 cup wasnt that sensible. :)

people over 28 should buy a proper pocket rocket, rather than a clio 172.
buy a 2004 megane 2litre or even an alfa gtv (pricey) or a fiesta st180. im sure middle aged people can afford to splash out a tad more on a car that has a "normal" driving position and a lot more refinement. on that note, i hope the 2006 clio 192 will have better seats:sick:

So anyone 29 and over are middle aged?

What makes you think older ppl can afford dearer cars.

Usually older ppl have mortgages and all the associated bills, we arent all on mega bucks you know.

Just because you get older doesnt mean your tastes change, cars, music etc. Why should the young uns have all the fun
;)

BTW i wouldnt have any of the mentioned cars before a 182.

Seen one lad is paying well over 2k to have a 182 at 20ish, im 20 and drive a 1.2 16v dynamique and i pay £930 a year fully comp my own policy and i think thats a bit on the steap side, id rather save for another year when ill have more money and 2 years NCB etc, its alot of money owning a car to start with but when your a student with no real job IMO paying 2k+ to insure a car then having to run the car too petrol, monthly payments etc is a bit silly, id rather have a half decent slow car and still be able to have a life at the same time.

Well I suppose I can kiss goodbye to a 172 or anything like that until im out of uni. I only work part time, am currently at college and off to uni in Sept. So it seems like im going to have to stick to my RT for now :)

Im chuffed with it tho, the future will tell all! :D
