172/182 Rear brakes

Hello,

Rear brakes will need replacing later on in the summer so thought I'd post up to see what options people go for. Now I'll be sticking to oem discs but wondering what people do regarding the pads. Would Ferodo DS2500's be a wast of time? If I do go for them I'll replace the front pads also as I feel the clio lakes bite.

I currently have DS2500's all round on my fabia (clio is swmbo'd) and their fantastic. Great bite and handle trackdays with no problem when combined with Super dot 4.

Rear brakes do about 25% of your braking, so fancy pads will do next to nothing. Stick to OEM.

I just fitted new disks and pads on the rear for my MOT. Got EBC redstuff really cheap and some generic disks. Haven't noticed a difference at all. So don't pay Renault prices. Save your money for decent brakes at the front :)
