how easy are they to fit to a non sport mk2 ph2?

The standard 1*2 spoilers are the same as dynamique ones, so they will just bolt straight on. The cup/trophy spoilers require different struts.

I thought the cup spoiler uses the same struts but its the trophy/v6 spoiler needs the shorter struts iirc

The V6 spoiler requires shorter struts so that it doesn't connect with the roof.

So if your wanting Big Iain's spoiler you'll need the shorter struts.

The sport ones are slightly larger than the dynamique style spoiler.

and the struts....how much are they and how much work is involved? and what do you reckon i'd be looking at price wise to buy the struts and spoiler?

The struts are about £25, can't remember where from though.

That would be a Cup spoiler.

Yep normal one.

AS for a cup spoiler I'm not sure I think the stop light connections might be different, I.e one is round and the other is square. Don't quote me on that though!

Brand new, I have no idea.

As for second hand you can pick up matt black ones for about £20. I paid £90 for mine, but it was painted the colour of my car.
