172 & 182 Stock Geometry Settings

  Audi (R)S2, 1.6 16v
Hi all, I'm looking for the stock camber, castor & toe angles settings for Ph1 & 2 172 / 172 Cup / 182 / 182 Cup / Trophy to see what differences there are (or aren't). I've searched on here but haven't found what I'm after just yet. Does anyone have access to this information and wouldn't mind posting it up :)

Cheers in advance, AndyC

I've done a little interpretation of the .pdf and have the follwing table to allow for comparison (all values are at stock rideheight and are converted to decimals for easier interpretation) -

Ph1 172Ph2 172172 Cup182182 Cup
Front
Camber
-1.0° ± 0.5°-0.33° ± 0.5°-0.5° ± 0.5°-0.53° ± 0.5°-0.75° ± 0.5°
Toe Out0.08° ± 0.04°0.23° ± 0.17°0.0° ± 0.17°0.2° ± 0.08°0.2° ± 0.08°
Castor2.15° ± 0.5°1.5° ± 0.5°3.0° ± 0.5°3.0° ± 0.5°3.0° ± 0.5°
Rear
Camber-1.52° ± 0.33°-1.5° ± 0.33°-1.5° ± 0.33°-1.5° ± 0.33°-1.5° ± 0.33°
Toe0.33° in ± 0.5°0.53° in ± 0.17°0.53° in ± 0.17°0.33° out ± 0.5°0.33° out ± 0.5°

I'd be very interested to know what is actually different between 172 & Cup to give the extra castor and camber.

Nice to see all this info you are taking the time to post up, cheers. However, I can't see the original pdf because I'm not a member

So, if you don't mind, could you verify why you think the rear toe of 182's is "out", i.e toeing out?

Any toe out should be described as a negative number, by the way, it avoids confusion.

I'm pretty sure that no mk2 clio comes from the factory with toe out rear, certainly mine does not.

Hi, here's the details that are given in the .pdf for the rear suspension. I have used 'in' and 'out' as that's what's written but it also says minus for all values and I'm not sure whay I've missed those off (it was getting late). Anyway, here's the information I was using, if it's wrong then please post a correction, as it's important to get it right.

Hi
I need to know the geometry settings for a 182 cup. I have looked at the link above and also looked at andy-casey's summary above and am I being thick or are they different e.g. camber -1.5° ± 0.33° for rear in the summary above, but it states -1 30' ± 0.20' in the pdf that is linked above
Thanks
George

1' means 1 second
There are 60' (60 seconds) in 1 degree
20' (20 seconds) = 20/60 = 0.33 degrees
30' (30 seconds) = 30/60 = 0.5 degrees
