Ive kicked off about it. Will have to wait and see. Theyre trying to say it because its lowered that its not covered. I can understand the shocker not being covered.

Apart from the headlamp adjuster and the pollen filter they could blame all of these problems with it being lowered. Im not saying i agree this is the cause but i just dont think its worth tampering with a car thats still under warrenty.. You just give them an excuse to back heel the costs to you. All theyd have to say is that lowering the car causes more vibration which the cars not designed for. I know this is a load of sh*te and ive lowered loads of cars but wouldnt risk it when under warrenty!

Sold my 172 just before the 36K service, was one of the factors that made me go for the 182 when i did.

Well the total cost would have come to £810 including service. Thats with warranty for CV boot and exhaust on warranty and paying for everything else. Theyre baming the headlamp adjuster on the lowering. Not too bothered about the other bits, I will do some bits myself and get a local garage to sort the others. Mine is 2.2 yrs old, They agreed the CV boot is fairly common problem. The pollen filter was in with the cost of the service in the end.

I needed a new CV boot at 36K which they wouldnt replace under warantee said it was normal ware and tare. Bumped the brice up to £600 thakfully the new center section of the exhaust was payed for by Renault UK otherwise it would have been an extra £400
