172 aftermarket exhausts (maybe ktec recessed)

Im 90% sure the exhaust will need replacing in the next few months, am am a little undecided about going for a standard steath, or making things a bit more interesting?

i would love the rear to look like this:

(sorry to nick the photo james)

what im after, is the names of the exhausts that fall into this category that ARE NOT LOUD. i do 30miles odd a day in the car, and cant stand the monotonal note when driving at like 80odd. (ive had aftermarket before and wasnt pleased lol)

The ktec recessed looks like a good option, and ive heard a few clips online. (wouldnt wanna go any louder than that)

Is there anyone that lives locally to GL40YA (gloucester) that wouldnt mind me driving to see them so i can hear the exhaust in person???

thanks for your time guys

If the k-tec recessed is like the stealth system then it will be quite loud.

If you're after a quite aftermarket, then i'd go for the yozzasport steatlh.

Quiet aftermarket would be the Yoz stealth. Can't you tell prospeed how loud you want their system to be?

Get to a good powerflow dealer and get them to make you up a mild steel ressesed exhaust like the one in the pic...job dont. Probs cost you £200

My 182 exhaust is quiet, its a AAS custom.

I live in coventry currently, but guessing you dont want to travel to newcastle to get a exhaust made up :p

Thought that was what the stealth meant! So could I get the yozza stealth system, but have a pipe that comes out the bumper?????

how do they change the sound of the exhaust? but the size of the box, or are there other methods too?

theres baffles inside the exhaust, they can add more in or take some out, taking more out will increase the exhaust sound,
