BMW M4; S1000 RR
Ok. Been looking at possible cars. Insurance renewal (or cancelation time in my case) is coming up soon, and looking to get some cheap P.O.S that's a bit quicker than my existing P.O.S.
So why not just get the same car with a 2 litre engine!!...
Anyway. Looked at 182 cups to start with. Got bored of the premiums people ask for Inferno paint.
Then thought 172cup.. But I think the lack of ABS with today's roads (amount of traffic) is a bit dodgy and for the sake of 0.5 seconds to 100, I'll pass.
So then it came down to the 182. But really, you're not going to notice a 10bhp loss on the road.
So I think I might get a 172 and spend the spare money on tricks considering it wouldn't be in warranty.
All in all then. I'm just wondering whether people think the cup tracking is good enough to warrant buying a 182 over a 172 as I could easily buy better suspension for the 172. Still leaving more than enough for exhaust/wheels/engine tweeking.
