172 cambelt ?.

Been looking for a clean 172 for a while, maybe I've been unlucky but so far anything up to £3k seems to have a ficticious service history, perhaps I'm just too suspicious but the fact someone has written "cambelt" in biro in the service book doesn't convince me it's been done. Are there any decent PH 1's left.

depending on your budget mate if you look hard there is some minters about but like anycar there will be some dogs aswell

Yes I agree, just been hacked off by a couple sellers trying to BS that it's been done when it hasn't.

If it has been done, not only should it say so in the book, there should also be a bill for it. Imo no bills etc, wlak away or get £400 or so off the price.

I wouldnt beleive them either, if there is no bill.

I cant understand why people throw service bills and any serious bills to do with cars away, its simple to just put them all in a folder.

I'd hold out till you find a decent one.

I wouldn't dismiss a PH2 around £3k either.
