172 cup boosted track toy!

Test fitted some new black diamond grooved scenic discs with the AP's and the finished brackets and the fit is perfect so I'm a happy chappy. Sold the Superleggeras so will need to stick to 2118's from now on as they are the only 15" wheel that seem to go over them with the 20mm spacers.

Just need some front hoses. Measured up some Subaru hoses but they seem a bit too long so think 197 hoses might be a better bet. Anyone know anywhere that sells just the fronts?

Few more things off the list such as,

Fitting the PMS shifter and dash with my gauge pod. I've gone for spa gauges for boost, water temp, oil temp and oil pressure. Also got an AEM wideband.

Also trial fitted my new Bimarco Futura seat from the GB. It is bigger and wider than the cobra evolution I had before but should fit past the cage.

Engine bay is finished apart from filling with fluids and firing it up. Hopefully get that done this weekend. I've got a base map from Scoff but not sure how well it will go. Fingers crossed!

Bought a Megane 250 turbo so it'll see me to 300 and I'll keep it there I think, hybrid was going to be more expensive and longer time wise

Thats right, had a senior moment there. You can't have too much to do now then surely.

Immobiliser problem now fixed. Some nipped wires behind the dash causing a short.

Now just need to get the base map on and see what other curve balls this thing throws at me! :headno:

Good stuff. Getting close now this time once you get it going leave it all together for a bit to enjoy it.
Or atleast till I get a run in it.

Engine is going back in after fitting a new head due to a timing jump. Should get this done over the weekend.

This one will fix over the oil separator on top of the cam cover. Should look neater and earth the coil pack better.

Seriously, the head was in great condition. Had to get 6 thou skimmed off it but the cam journals were in great nic and measured up perfectly with the cams. No leaks in the valves either. Managed to get paraffin sitting in the chambers for hours.

You will be able to ask for road tax for Christmas. That bracket would look great next to a alloy tank.

Sorted mate, engine in today. Will be running by tomorrow. Going to the still game show now or would have been running tonight.
