172 Cup coilovers...but which ones to fit???

Hi,

Just bought a 2003 172 Cup for only track days, which coilover set up is best, want to spend around 1K on parts.

I've extensively searched this forum and other sites (nothing has really pointed me in the right direction) and have sort of narrowed it to Bil B14’s or KW V2’s but there are lots of posts saying that even these are still too soft.
It's taken to the track on a trailer and I’ll never be using it on the road.

Been to Snetterton (28th March) and plan to go to Bedford (30th April). Missed Cadwell (3rd April)as even I could not escape on Mothers Day. Already taken out rear seats etc, plan to replace front seats and will eventually fit roll cage etc. Replaced disks with brembo HC for front and brembo normal rears and at the moment have stuck in EBC red stuff pads and they seemed ok on the 28th March.

Any help will be appreciated on the coilover set up as don't want to buy and then regret.....

Cheers

Thanks for quick reply, got a whiteline arb on back order with Balance, did look at the AST's but the price put me off, though I'd rather spend more and achive more than spend less and wonder what if....

The KW v2's with a whiteline rear ARB was more than good enough for me :) (take from that what you will)

KW V2's are not soft!

Well atleast thats what my spine tells me everytime I go out in my Cup.... Great set up although mine are a bit tired now and could ideally do with being replaced.

Worth a solid top mount while doing work too? Seems a kw are the better bet, price\reviews etc. AST have have a lot of bad press re obtaining and then getting them fixed, long turn around time.
