Twice in the last week I've been driving along and the dials die and all the lights on the display become illuminated. It also resets all the trips mpg miles speed av etc. The lights go off and the dials work again within seconds.
The first time it happened I had my radio on and assumed the engine had cut out..... But it hadn't. No apparent effect on the running of the car, but is worrying doing 60 and the dials drop and the car seems to be telling me I need to stop.
Is this just a french electrical gremlin? Or should I be concerned?
