172 Cup Headlights in 182

In the process of building myself a little track car and want to know if I can put 172 cup headlights in a 182?
Get rid of all the xenon parts to save a bit of weight... Any ideas?

Just plug straight in I think.

That was my thoughts as I know you can plug xenons into a cup... Hopefully someone will know for sure
