172 Cup Macpherson struts??

The Cup passed its MOT today, but I got an advisory for slight movement at both the upper front nearside and offside macpherson strut attachments. Am I right in thinking that solid top mounts would cure this? or am I looking in the wrong place?

yup.. strut attatchments would be the top mounts. New oem mounts (or similar) or solid mounts would get you throug mot.

Nothing wrong with the OE ones dude. I got mine from GSF, they didn't cost much at all.
