Oh bugger :( All sorted now though (apart from the pads)? What happened with the plugs and leads?

I had some RC5s do that to me, when I bought those from K-Tec they 100% assured me the RC5+ (which they are) would NOT do the same! If you need the original invoice / order confirmation for any reason just give me a shout. A new set FOC is a good result though :)

The leads looked like the originals and no. 4 had been soaking in oil for a while. When we checked the plugs, they looked like they had seen better days, however the electrodes were still a good colour. This way, the whole ignition system has been changed at the same time and is a known quantity now. Race fees or even track day fees are too expensive to waste on mechanical mishaps. :)

Yeah, know what you mean there. Must admit I didn't ever have the plugs / leads out / off, hope it's not caused any un-necessary aggro :(
